The YMCA Hostel is situated within the main complex of the Gambian YMCA it is located on the second and third respectively of the administrative block. The hostel has 34 rooms. the third floor of the Hostel which is now completed with aid from the National Council of the YMCAs of Finland comes complete with Self Contained Bathroom and other modern accessories of two star quality. The new look YMCA Hostel has two conference rooms and a complete open air balcony for guest to get fresh air.
RECREATION
The YMCA Hostel also allows guest to use in door facilities and out door facilities within the YMCA Complex. these facilities include table tennis and Basketball, guest can join YMCA members in the evening to take part in these programmes.
CONFERENCE ROOM FACILITIES
The YMCA Hostel is equipped with two fairly large conference rooms where organisations can organise workshops, seminars, social events etc for up to 50 participants. The conference rooms are well ventilated and the rates vary from the type of event your organisation is organising. Facilities such as leasing a Computer with personnel from our Computer Training Centre also exist during your events etc. Photocopying facilities and other amenities are within the YMCA to use during such events. Contact the reception for any function arrangement.
YMCA RESTAURANT
The YMCA Hostel also offers complete catering services at the YMCA Restaurant. Guest can get an affordable meals from $2.00 (Two United States Dollars) or the equvalent of D20.00 ( Twenty Gambia Dalasis).Car park facilities are also available.The restaurant runs from 9.00am - 12 midnight daily except Sundays.click Here to see pics of our famous restaurant and the prices of our food. THe YMCA Hostel facilities now offers kitchenette services in both floors, hence guest can now prepare their own food with all the amenities provided.

All major shops or supremarket are within walking distance from the YMCA Hostel.
